Our History

Pyramid Automotive, Inc. was established on August 26, 1985, as an auto and truck parts supplier with a small machine shop. Our machine shop offered a variety of services on a small output basis. Throughout the 1990’s, our machine shop became the main focus and the parts supply business was eventually phased out.

At the beginning of the 2000’s an emphasis was put on the engine rebuilding portion of our business. We produced engines for other shops and individuals to install. This segment of our business grew at a much quicker pace than we ever expected.

After being asked repeatedly if we would do the engine removal and re-installation (R&R) in the vehicle, we made the decision to start offering Engine R&R service in addition to rebuilding the engine itself. Our Engine R&R Service also grew quickly.

Not long after we began offering our engine R&R service a customer suggested that we start offering general vehicle repair (air conditioning, brakes, cooling system, etc.), since we already had the equipment and technicians. However, with auto service businesses on every street corner, we decided to find more of a niche market. Having our own in-house machine shop that can perform welding and fabrication, along with all the other services, fleet vehicle service and repair appeared to be our best option. In 2006 we expanded into Fleet Service and within a short time we were offering our services to the general public.

Today, Pyramid Automotive offers more services under one roof than anyone on Florida’s west coast. We employ some of the best talent in this industry. Several of our employees have been with us for over fifteen years. We are a close working family.

Our goals for the future are to keep expanding our business while building more great relationships with our customers and employees.
